Mission San Juan Capistrano
Patch Program
Mission San Juan Capistrano has instituted a patch program for
anyone who completes the appropriate tour. The tour is
particularly relevant for fourth graders as they embark on their
California Mission curriculum. For Boy and Girl Scouts, the
patch can be included on your uniform. For more information on

Disaster Release Procedure
In the event of a disaster, strict rules are in place for the

Picture Make-up Day

Taste of Fountain Valley:
The annual Taste of
Fountain Valley if a fabulous event and lots of fun. It helps
raise funds for the Fountain Valley Educational Foundation which
provides our music program and many other wonderful programs we
enjoy at Courreges. With many state budget cuts, and our
extremely high enrollment, it is very important to support the
FVEF to maintain the excellence we expect at Courreges. Please

Information:
To participate in the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)
program, a student must be nominated by a teacher or a parent
between November 3rd and 14th. For more information about the

Party and Treat Guidelines:
Our school district has adopted a policy in support of the
California State Guidelines for student health regarding the

Science Adventures:
Science Adventures offers an on-campus after-school science club
for students in Kindergarten thru 5th grade. The first session
begins October 2. Please note that registration must be

Fountain Valley Educational
Foundation:
The Fountain Valley Educational Foundation funds lots of the
wonderful programs we enjoy at Courreges and fills many of the
voids left by state budget cuts. Supporting this fantastic
organization is of particular importance this year with our
extremely high enrollment. Please remember, if your company
provides matching funds for your donations, you can make your
