Information (due November 14):
To participate in the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)
program, a student must be nominated by a teacher or a parent
between November 3rd and 14th. For more information about the
characteristics of a gifted child, please click here:

Picture Make-up Day
(due November 12):
If your child was absent on the original picture day or you need
the picture to be retaken, make-up pictures will be taken on

Taste of Fountain Valley
(due November 14):
Be sure to get your
tickets this week—prices are higher at the door. The annual Taste of
Fountain Valley is a fabulous event and lots of fun. It helps
raise funds for the Fountain Valley Educational Foundation which
provides our music program and many other wonderful programs we
enjoy at Courreges. With many state budget cuts, and our
extremely high enrollment, it is very important to support the
FVEF to maintain the excellence we expect at Courreges. Please
