Dear Kindergarten Parents,

          On behalf of the PTA, we would like to welcome you to Courreges Elementary School. We hope your son/daughter is very excited about entering kindergarten this coming school year.

 The success of our PTA comes not only from the generous contributions made by you and our community, but by the dedicated parents who volunteer their time. For our children to continue to enjoy a higher quality of education, we need your help in supporting our PTA programs.

Attached is a list of programs which our Courreges PTA provides. Please read through the various volunteer opportunities.  We welcome all the help that you can provide.

On the first day of school, the Courreges PTA hosts a Welcome Back Tea. It begins at 8:15 in the bowl area. This provides an opportunity to meet new parents, learn more about the PTA, and sign up for various committees.  We hope you will stop by. It’s a great way to get more involved with our school!

Also, please check out our website at www.courregespta.org.  This is a great way to learn more about ongoing events at the school. You can also sign up for web alerts, which allows you to keep updated on important Courreges information.

Courreges Elementary School Tour
There will be a school tour for new incoming parents on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. If you are interested in attending, please call the school office at 714.378.4280 to sign up. No children please.


Kindergarten Round-Up
Kindergarten Round-up is scheduled for Thursday, April 12, 2007 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. If you have a child entering kindergarten in the fall (2007-08 school year) we invite you to attend. Note: All incoming kindergartners for the 2007/08 school year must be 5 years old on or before December 2nd.

During Kindergarten Round-up registration packets will be available. A brief overview of the kindergarten program and registration procedures will be discussed at that time. Children are welcome to attend.


Registration for New Students – Fall 2007-08
Registration packets will be available Monday, April 30, 2007 for the 2007-08 school year. This is for new incoming student only.
