What is SPC?

The Superintendent Parent Council is comprised of the elected officers, the chairpersons of special committees, the presidents of each school’s Parent Teacher Unit (or appointed representative) and the Superintendent of the Fountain Valley School District. SPC meets the third Wednesday of each school month at 9:00 a.m. in the boardroom of the Fountain Valley School District Office.

The objectives of SPC, according to its by-laws are to: provide community support to the Fountain Valley School District’s professional staff in order to provide the best educational opportunities for every student; to provide unity and communication among the Parent Teacher Units and the District Office. In other words, our objectives are support, communication, unity and helping each other for the benefit of all students.

Meeting Schedule: 3rd Wednesday of each month @ 9:00 a.m., District Office Board Room
