2010 End of the Year Carnival Update

  • End-of-Year Carnival, Thursday, June 17th!!!

    We are looking for volunteers for this committee. Check your classroom for sign-ups. The more we have the faster it all gets done!


    End-of-Year Carnival, Thursday, June 17th!!! -- UPDATED

    Thank you to all who have signed up to volunteer and/or donate items for the Carnival.
    WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS. We have no volunteers from the following Upper Core classes: Harrison, Blake, Perez, and Dennis. Our Year-End Carnival takes a lot of volunteers to make it run smoothly, so we really appreciate any and all who sign up to help out. Please check the volunteer schedules. The highlighted spaces still need volunteer coverage. If you are able to help, or if you have already volunteered and your name does not appear on the schedule, please contact Jacque Dahl at jacquedahl@gmail.com. Even if you are unable to reach Jacque, you can show up at the volunteer table ready to work (8:00am for lower core, 10:00am of upper core).

    o Set-Up And Clean-Up
    We welcome all who are willing to help. Set-up will begin at 7:30am in back of the school.
    We are especially in need of those that can lend a little muscle! Clean-up will begin immediately after the Carnival for all those that can give a few minutes to help put things away.

    o Donated Items
    If you have signed up to bring an EZ-UP, extension cord, card table, please label those items with your name and bring them to room 13 on Wednesday, June 16th before/after school.

    Coolers and Ice will need to be dropped off at 8:00am by the PTA bin.

    All other items can be placed in the PTA room (#5) before Thursday.

    o Needed Items
    THANK YOU to all who have donated so many items. The only things we are still in need of are:

    8- EZ-UPS
    3- Extension Cords
    3- 5 gallon water coolers
    10- small tables (card)

    If you can let us use these items during the carnival, please contact Jacque Dahl at jacquedahl@gmail.com


    o Siblings
    Younger siblings will be allowed access to carnival activities for a $5 fee if the parent is volunteering at the carnival. A separate, signed permission slip is required for each younger sibling. The permission slip, as well as the $5 fee must be turned in at the volunteer station on the morning of the Carnival. The sibling will then have their hand stamped.
