Courreges
Year End Carnival
Student & Parent Information
Dear Parents,
Tomorrow your children will be
celebrating the end of the year with the Courreges Carnival on the
last day of school, Wednesday, June 18th. The carnival will feature
12 new booths with lots of fun prizes, the 40' inflatable obstacle
course, plus the infamous Face and Hair Painting Booth, and the Food
Booth. To ensure that all children will maximize their experience,
the following schedule will be for the grade levels:
A few reminders:
-
Remember, there is no cost
at all for the carnival - all activities and food are free!
-
Carnival will be outdoors - dress
child appropriately with sun block, caps/hats, sunglasses, etc.
-
Please keep in mind - only
parents volunteering will be permitted at the Carnival!
If you would like to volunteer, please look for either one of us
at the Food Stand.
We also like to thank, ahead of time,
all the parent volunteers staffed to run activities in the booths,
and the Courreges PTA for funding the carnival. The students'
enjoyment for the end of the year celebration was made possible by
the many parent volunteers and the support of Courreges PTA
Thank you very much!

2008 Year End Carnival
Dear
Parents!
We are pleased to announce that the Year End Carnival is approaching
rapidly! Based on feedback, this year we will have more new fresh
booths and prizes, plus a 40’ obstacle course and it does not
require us to set up or tear down the booths and games! To make this
possible, we contracted Fun Services of Southern
California to handle most of the heavy lifting.
We do require help in staffing the
booths during the carnival. Fun Services staff will orientate you on
how to run the booths. Each classroom will be assigned to one or two
booth(s) and is responsible to staff a team of parent volunteers.
The schedule for the day will be:
8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. – Lower
Core will be at the Carnival and staffed by lower core classroom
parent volunteers
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. –
Upper Core will be at the Carnival and staffed by upper core
classroom parent volunteers
If you would like to volunteer, sign up in the above form.
Please keep in mind – only parents volunteering will be permitted at
the Carnival! Every parent volunteer will have a chance to spend
some time with their child!
In addition to the Fun Services booths, we will continue to have the
Face and Hair Painting Booth, plus a Concession Stand.
Please let us know if you would like to do that on the sign up form
as well!
The posting of your assigned station will be available on Monday,
June 16, 2008 and will be posted at the PTA Cabinets and web site.
Volunteers must arrive 20 minutes prior to your start time!
