Teacher Appreciation Week May 7-11

It’s never too early to say thanks for all of the hard work that our teachers do for our children! This year we would like to show our gratitude for the teachers by treating them to lunch at Mimi’s Café. We would greatly appreciate Mimi’s scrip donations in order to help off set the cost. Last year we also raffled off gift certificates at the luncheon that can be purchased through scrip. If you would like to donate Mimi’s scrip or a raffle item between $10 and $25, please write “T.A.” next to that item on your order form and the wonderful scrip people will make sure we receive it. Thanks so much for your support!

Teacher Appreciation Week May 7-11, 2007

Dear Room Moms,

The time has come for us to show the teachers how much they are appreciated.  We have put together a list of pertinent information and a schedule of events for the Teacher Appreciation week.  The following items are a suggestion; feel free to pamper your teacher how you see fit!        

*THEME FOR WEEK: Teachers make minds bloom.

*BREAKDOWN BY DAY: (room mom duties are in green)

            MONDAY:  Door poster, flowers and poems/ letters from students

                        Banner in front of school

            TUESDAY:  Relaxation baskets (i.e., calming CD, scented candles, etc)

                        Massage day!

            WEDNESDAY:  Snack baskets, favorite coffee drink

            THURSDAY:  Luncheon                

            FRIDAY:  Gift certificates from class

                        Bagels/fresh fruit/coffee in lounge

The activities in black will be taken care of by the Teacher appreciation committee.  There will be a flyer in the Monday envelopes regarding donations for the luncheon and raffle prizes.

I know that, with your help, we will be able to show the teachers how much we appreciate them.  Thanks so much for all of your hard work and dedication!!
