Corporate Matching Gifts: Five Will Getcha’ Ten

Last year over $9,000 was raised by Matching Gifts!

Please don’t let this opportunity go by. Many employers have some sort of Matching Gift program whereby they will match their employee’s contribution to charitable organizations.

Please take a moment to examine the list of companies printed on the back side of this paper. If you or your spouse work for any of the companies listed, there is a great chance that you can double your contribution to the Courreges Jog-A-Thon. In fact, if a grandparent, aunt, uncle or neighbor contributes to our Jog-A-Thon and they work for one of these companies, they can apply to have their donation matched as well. It is a very easy process:

• Contact your company’s H.R. Dept. (or website) to obtain the matching gift form and fill out your portion completely.

• Return the form and your check with your child’s pledge monies after the Jog-A-Thon. Make your check payable to Courreges PTA, unless otherwise indicated. (See back.)

• We will fill out our portion of the form and send it in.

• Your check will be processed as a regular pledge but your child will receive credit for the matching funds at the time we receive your completed form. If you have more than one child attending the school, PLEASE fill out just one matching gift form and write just one check. We can credit all your children the same amount or various specific amounts equaling your donation plus matching gift. Indicate “matching gift” and the specific amounts on each of your child’s pledge cards.

• Your company will mail the check directly to our school.

It is neither difficult nor time consuming to apply for a matching gift.  IF YOUR COMPANY IS ON THE LIST, PLEASE HELP.  Thank you!

Please note: Some companies may have discontinued their programs or do not support either PTA or Elementary Schools.  If you are aware of a company on this list that no longer participates in a matching gift program, or if you know of a new employer to add to the list, please email our website at info@courregespta.org and the list will be amended.
