As you know our annual Jog-a-thon is
our one big fundraiser of the year. For Courreges PTA to put
on the event, we have 4 coordinators to lead this effort. They
are as follows:
JAT Kick Off Coordinator
Is responsible for picking a theme for this years Jog-a-thon. This
chair plans and coordinates the Kick off assembly and oversees the
overall Jog-a-thon functions and planning. The chair is in charge of
making sure that all the other committees are informed and
communicating with each other. This chair has a committee to work
with.
JAT Day Coordinator
This chair is in charge of the actual Jog-a-thon day. They make sure
to have volunteers signed up and communicate with the room parent
coordinator. They request water donations for the event, hire a DJ,
order medals and communicate with the Grade Level Coordinator in
regards to lapcards and classroom supplies. This chair has a
committee to work with.
Grade Level Coordinator
This position is in charge of processing and distributing all
printed materials for the Jog-a-thon. They communicate with the
other chairs on the required and necessary flyers and forms. They
assemble all the packages for the individual students.
Solicitation
This chair send out all letters requesting donations. They make the
follow up phone calls, fill out forms for the donating companies and
provide any additional information required. They also send out the
thank you letters after a donation was made to the Jog-a-thon.
