3rd Anniversary Tile Wall Event

Celebrating the graduation of our 5th graders!!!

We are continuing the very special tradition of creating a tile wall for the children of Roch Courreges Elementary School. Each child at Courreges will have the opportunity to create a tile for the 2007-2008 school year to be mounted in the bowl area. This project is wonderful for our new little kindergarteners, as they can watch their art grow throughout the years, and it is especially sentimental for the 5th graders who will be painting their last tile before they move on to middle school.

Our students—past and present—will have the opportunity to paint a tile—
that will be installed permanently on the wall at school.
Future generations of Cougars may have the pleasure of viewing their artwork…many years from now.

Tiles are available for sale at $35 each.

We ask that each child paint only ONE tile; but parents may paint one for themselves. Or, you can paint a single, family tile.

Use your imagination, but please do not use commercial characters (i.e., Disney or Pokemon—due to licensing issues). Artwork can be simple or detailed—THE MAIN GOAL IS TO CAPTURE THE SIMPLICITY OF YOUR CHILD’S ARTWORK. If your child needs help in drawing, you can use stencils that are available in most craft stores or trace your artwork from copyright free material. YOUR DESIGN MAY BE OUTLINED IN BLACK PAINT AFTER YOUR CHILD IS DONE PAINTING. Please keep this in mind when creating your artwork because small details may be lost in the outlining.
