Dear Parents and Families,

The Scholastic Book Fair will be arriving with loads of great books here at Courreges School on
Monday, May 2nd through Friday, May 6th. Our “Read, White and Blue” theme
will bring lots of patriotic excitement to this event.

Attached is a Book Fair book list, which highlights just a few of the books available. Every student
will visit the fair during the school day sometime this week, and we hope you’ll also stop by to
see the great selection of books. Volunteers will be there to help the children, and they can make
their purchases with cash or checks made out to Courreges PTA. Adults can also pay by credit
card. There will be treasures for all ages!

This is a great opportunity to:

Purchase BEST PAW FORWARD books to get off to a great start on this year’s program.
Donate new books to your child’s class. Teachers have submitted “WISH LIST BOXES” filled with books that will enrich their classroom libraries. When you visit the fair, you can purchase one or more to donate. Each donated book will be recognized with a book plate identifying your child or family as the donor.
Buy “BOOK FAIR BUCKS”. You may purchase a “BUCK” in one, two, five or ten dollar denominations to give to the teachers. The teachers can then come to the fair and spend these like cash. In the past, parents have found the teachers “Wish List Boxes” empty, so this is another way to donate to the classrooms.

The Book Fair is located on the Stage in the multipurpose room and will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. except Thursday and Friday when it will close at 1:00 p.m. We will also have a special time for families to shop during OPEN HOUSE NIGHT on Thursday September 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
