First Best Paw Training – September 25
Best Paw is a volunteer-based reading
program for K through 2nd grades. The Best Paw Program will
begin on October 1 this year. A few minor changes have been made
to the program, so it will be MANDATORY for all parents who wish
to be Best Paw testers to attend 1 of the 2 training meetings
before the program begins. The meetings will be brief, but will
address some of the new aspects of the program that will be
implemented this year as well as a review of the basics. The
meetings will be held in the PTA Room (Room 5) and will take
place on Friday, September 25 at 8:15am and on Monday, September
28 at 1:00pm. Even if you have previous experience as a
volunteer for the program, you still must attend 1 of
the training sessions. Teachers will have a list of trained Best
Paw parents and will only allow participation by those who have
been trained.
